UMBC faculty, staff, and students are able to reserve vehicles through National Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Rentals can occur for both university-related business and for personal use.
Follow instructions in this document (UMBC log-in required) to take advantage of all of the services these companies provide.
Items of note:
- Only eligible renters may access the National and Enterprise Car Rental site to make reservations
- Eligible renters for business use are defined as any faculty or full-time staff member on official University business
- Eligible renters for non-business use are defined as any University employee or student for personal use
- Personal use rates do not include damage waivers or liability
- Reservations can be made for outside the United States and will include coverage when on official University business; however, rates are dependent on the specific country in which you are renting and there is also “excess” (a deductible) for any damages to the rental
